The Steemit dev team on Twitter stated that they are aware of the issue and are going to release a patch soon. This hiccup may negatively affect Steemit in the market as the day goes on after seeing quite strong gains after Steemit recently bottomed out. Rumors have suggested that the CEO of Steemit is actually cashing out a lot of his holdings.
Blocktrades currently has Steem "under maintenance" as Steemit users won't have a legit way to withdraw their Steem for Dogecoin or Bitcoin! Steem and Steem dollars (an including Steem Power) is affected by the latest problem!
