Dogecoin Lives On: Dogecoin Core 1.14 Beta

Dogecoin, every crypto fans favorite mascot, has been mired with a reputation of inactive developers (on chain) and seen as a "joke", but some developers have been working on the next release. The highly anticipated Dogecoin 1.14 is currently being developed. Wow!

Currently, there are a handful of developers observing and making commits to the github branch for Dogecoin (the last commit was 7 days ago) announced by langerhans. On November 26, 2018, langerhans released the Dogecoin Core 1.14 Beta, he posted a Reddit post stating some improvements to the beta and to not run Dogecoin 1.14 on the mainnet, as it would cause a premature soft fork on the network. Dogecoin increased 2.75% against the USD, it's current price sits at $0.002280 USD from langerhans announcement to the release of this post. The Dogecoin reddit community is still very active promoting Doge, tipping, and users promoting off chain sites. There is still no further information on the exact release date of 1.14 official from Langerhans. We'll post any further updates about the 1.14 revision of Dogecoin.
