Imagine that, Biff isn't in Power in 2015, but Trump is in power 2019, a few years apart, a lot of similarities just sadly no real hoverboard as seen in Back To The Future: Part II, and no flying cars... yet. Seems like Elon Musk wants to change that. Elon Musk retweeted a fanmade image of a DeLorean transforming into flight mode seen from the movies, and suggested that they are working on something similar for the roadster.
The new Roadster will actually do something like this https://t.co/fIsTAYa4x8— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) January 9, 2019
He even tweeted at Marques Brownlee (an influential YouTuber who primarily covers technology advances) about the details of this conceptual Roadster.
I’m not. Will use SpaceX cold gas thruster system with ultra high pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats.— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) January 9, 2019
Elon Musk teased a flying Tesla back in 2017 and its refreshing to hear somewhat of an update from his last comments. "Rocket tech applied to a car opens up revolutionary possibilities," and I completely agree with his comments from November 2017. Will we see a real flying car from Tesla by 2020? Maybe, we'll see, the market does seem to be picking up but its in its infancy. Would you get a flying car?
