Kingdom Hearts fans are excited about the recent announcement by Square Enix; Kingdom Hearts coming to Steam! Steam, a great source for indie games and many AAA, has a new franchise. Square Enix worked with Steam to release classic games like Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy VII, so now they are releasing the long-awaited release of Kingdom Hearts.
Square Enix declared they will release the titles on June 13th, 2024. Excitedly the titles announced include:
- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix
- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue
- Kingdom Hearts 3 + ReMind (DLC)
This huge announcement will allow players to spend hours playing through the franchise and exploring the world of Disney worlds and Final Fantasy characters. After years of complicated releases by the Walt Disney Company in the film industry, Square Enix has stood strong as a brand creating incredible games. We may expect Square Enix to release Kingdom Hearts 4 (Kingdom Hearts IV) on Steam.
Speculation aside, Kingdom Hearts 4 continues to be in production and Yoko Shimomura returns to score the game.
